This Global Retail Insights Perspective presents our perspective on EPC Connection 2008. The event lacked energy, the audience was largely focused on Wal-Mart compliance, and there were only a couple of innovative technology announcements. In our opinion, this event did not fairly represent the breadth of current RFID pilot activity or generate any excitement for the uninitiated.
