This IDC study contains survey results of 1,822 companies across EMEA and their attitudes toward network life-cycle services (NLS), covering network consulting and integration, managed network services, and network maintenance services. It belongs to IDC's EMEA Enterprise Communications Survey series, providing more insight into companies' attitudes toward cloud and hosting, unified communications and collaboration, videoconferencing, and voice and data network services.
"When selecting a network service provider, 66% of companies across EMEA focus on the quality of support. While price remains important (64%), other factors such as technology innovation, contract flexibility, and geographical coverage rank high. That reflects the focus on innovating business in order to engage with customers or reach out to new markets or even create totally new markets," said Sylvia Wünsche, research analyst, European Telecoms and Networking.
