Central and Eastern Europe 2013 Enterprise Mobility Survey Results
This IDC study presents the results of IDC's 2013 Enterprise Mobility Survey in Central and Eastern Europe. The survey is conducted annually, with the next update scheduled for June 2014. This study offers insight into the status of mobility in the region in the recent past and enables comparisons to be drawn when the next survey results are published. The 2013 survey included respondents from 241 companies in Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic and revealed how companies view such issues as consumerization, BYOD policies, mobile device management, and deployment of corporate applications on mobile devices.
"The percentage of mobile workers in CEE enterprises is gradually increasing, and, although only about a third of companies reported to have mobility strategies in place, we believe this proportion will continue to grow. Furthermore, mobility specialists will be increasingly involved in assisting companies to align mobility and business objectives and in educating the market, as well as continuing to play an important role in providing products and services." — Senior Research Analyst Ina Malatinska, IDC CEMA.
