This IDC study examines the application outsourcing services market and provides a forecast for the period from 2014 to 2018. The forecast for application outsourcing services in Canada continues to increase, in terms of spending, rising from C$2.1 billion in 2013 to C$2.55 billion at the end of 2018. Despite this increase, year-over-year growth rates continue to decline, falling from 5.3% in 2013 to 4.1% in 2018. From a segmented view, application management services spending is trending below 4% in annual growth, with spending increasing to C$2.15 billion in 2018 from C$1.8 billion in 2013. Hosted application management services spending is currently projected to rise from C$288 million in 2013 to C$400 million in 2018, producing a five-year CAGR of 6.8%.
