Board Meeting Minutes: June 3, 2008, Market Intelligence Leadership Board

This IDC Insight is a summary of the Marketing Intelligence Leadership Board meeting held on June 3, 2008, in Menlo Park, California, with 15 market intelligence executives in attendance. The morning session was devoted to a discussion of best practices in MI portal strategies. The afternoon sessions focused on the adoption of enterprise collaboration tools for market intelligence teams. A brief overview of the Market Intelligence Industry Benchmark Survey was also presented. At the conclusion of the day, a group discussion of future research priorities for the market intelligence advisory was held.
