This IDC study looks at the requirements of enterprise telecommunications managers in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region. It analyzes the usage preferences and adoption behaviors of enterprises across a range of industries. Some of the primary issues covered include current and future adoption behaviors, technologies, and SP selection criteria.

"The majority of enterprises are now becoming more concerned about cost/pricing. The survey respondents cited cost/pricing as the key factor in selecting a telecom SP and the services that they subscribe to. This trend is a result of diminishing differentiation among connectivity services, as most SPs now provide similar services," says Kenneth Liew, senior market analyst, Communications Research, IDC Asia/'Pacific.
