Alternative Workstyles: Telecommuter and Mobile Worker Opportunity Index by Industry

This IDC study compares the use of both telecommuters and mobile workers across 17 different industries. Using the number of companies, average IT spend, average number of employees, and average revenue, IDC ranks these industries to create an opportunity index. IT spending attitudes are used to point to future opportunities for IT providers.

"Weighting different dimensions paired with future IT spending gives vendors a unique perspective on the future growth of telecommuters and mobile workers."
