Polyurethane Chemicals and Products in South America - 4th Edition

IAL Consultants is pleased to announce the publication of the fourth edition of its report on the polyurethane markets in South America.

Demand for polyurethane in South America has increased overall in line with rising living standards particularly in Argentina and Brazil.

The use of polyurethane in construction has been fuelled by two upcoming global sport events taking place in Brazil and the 2010 earthquake in Chile. Nonetheless, production continues facing competition from lower priced materials.

The report has been extensively revised and the format is now closer to our EMEA study, for ease of comparison. The study includes a more comprehensive breakdown of the CASE markets in comparison to our previous editions.

Using the latest available information from official and industry sources the report summarises the production of polyurethane products and the associated demand for polyurethane chemicals. Research for this study was carried out in the second half of 2011. Data is provided for the year 2011, in addition to forecasts for 2016.
