Industrial Vehicles

Industrial vehicles have diverse industry applications in agriculture, construction, commercial transportation and shipping, mining, oil & gas, and various manufacturing sectors. Industrial vehicles also include common consumer rentals like compact tractors. Industrial vehicles widely range in capacity, handling capabilities, power, cost and purpose. Industrial vehicles in construction include forklifts, bulldozers, cranes and wrecking balls.

Cranes are the largest construction vehicle categories and are widely applicable to a number of construction activities with proper device fittings and equipment. Industrial cranes can be overhead, mobile and fixed. Vehicles for transportation and shipping include trucks that operate at various horsepower (hp) and have different capacities. Trucks are also used in mining to haul loads of ore, fill and other excavated materials. The oil & gas sector uses various trucks and industrial land vehicles to access wells and features in the oil field. Oil and gas vehicles can be outfitted with drills, carry compressed gases and well injectants, and other equipment for well completion and surveying.

In manufacturing, forklifts are a common industrial vehicle used to transport and handle palletized loads and other materials and products. Agriculture and farming is another major end user market for industrial vehicles and machinery, including common tractors, compact utility tractors, garden tractors, backhoe loaders, row-crop tractors, orchard tractors, combines, reapers and ploughs.
