Procurement is coordinated with the project manager and engineering staff to ensure that the project budget is kept through appropriate material costs, project guidelines for sustainability and regulations are met through compliance, materials are selected based upon engineering requirements including structural loads and stresses, and aesthetics and lifetime durability are also ensured when appropriate.
