Telecommunications and Data Cable in South Korea

Based on existing trends, the market for telecommunications and data cable is forecast to grow almost 16% between 1999 and 2006, from almost US$32 billion to US$37 billion. This represents average annual growth of 2% a year, considerably less than some of the numbers being quoted at the height of the dot.com bubble. Unsurprisingly, North America is the largest market for telecommunications and data cable, accounting for 36% of global consumption, while Asia is also a considerable size, comprising 34%.
