Some of the key players that won contracts were Landis+Gyr, Itron, Alstom Grid, Car Charging Group, GRIDiant Corporation and Smarter Grid Solutions. A total of 17 fundraising events took place in February, at which Active Power, CMS Energy Corporation, Cisco Systems, Kyushu Electric Power Co., CitiPower and Powercor, and Vestas Wind Systems raised funds through private public offerings. Ijenko, enModus, Powervation and REGEN Energy raised funds through venture financing. Other announcements were made in February regarding appointments, management changes and investment. A total of 10 projects were reported in February.
