Tesla Motors achieved over 50,000 vehicles unit sales globally, including 30,825 units in North America in 2015, up 58% from 2014. Tesla aims to create a sustainable mode of transportation by challenging the conventional automotive market and achieving 25% gross profitability by 2020. Tesla Motors is expected to leverage electric vehicles’ energy storage to create a more networked disruptive mobility business model.
