In-patient markets will continue to play an important role in the adoption of computerised physician order entry systems (CPOE) across Europe. To a large extent, the European healthcare environment has evolved to become more receptive to adopting advanced clinical solutions, including CPOE. However, pockets of scepticism remain; the solution is regarded as being too invasive, changing key workflows and reducing operational flexibility.
