This report forecasts US frozen food shipments in US dollars at the manufacturers' level to 2017. Total shipments are segmented in terms of meat and poultry; frozen specialties; fruit, juice, and vegetables; ice cream and novelties; seafood; and other frozen products.
To illustrate historical trends, total shipments are provided in an annual series from 2002 to 2012; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2007 and 2012. An Industry Overview section defines products, discusses industry drivers and constraints, identifies substitute products when applicable, and provides pertinent background on product developments, consumer food expenditure trends, and leading brands.
An Industry Forecasts section assesses the impact of key drivers and constraints on each product segment over the forecast period.
