| In 2010, the eMMC market experienced growth of over 200% and will grow a further 100%+ in 2011 due to demand from smartphones and tablets. In 2010, suppliers of eMMC consisted of the NAND flash manufacturers but in 2011, module and flash card manufacturers are expected to enter the market as the traditional removable storage market slows. NAND flash manufacturers will continue to ramp new facilities in the 2nd half of this year, however, concerns over the world economy and European debt could slow down ramps and impact investment in 2012.
