EMC's family of Symmetrix and CLARiiON networked storage systems were developed to help manage information across the enterprise infrastructure. Symmetrix offers a portfolio of high-end products; CLARiiON's products are for the midrange deployment. These offer high-performance storage for 24x7 data access, business continuity, and consolidation, and include software products for dynamic cache partitioning, storage tiering, resource management, replication, and virtual provisioning, among other tasks.
