Structured Cabling Systems Market: is an update and most importantly an upgrade of our previous Structured Cabling Systems (SCS) Market: 2005 report. All new research provides five-year forecasts to 2012 of the cables and apparatus connectivity devices used in SCS. This includes both UTP copper and fiber cabling. The report provides detailed product forecasts by five major cabling applications: (1) LANs, (2) data centers, (3) video over IP, (4) VOIP and (5) other applications such as wireless. UTP cabling forecasts are provided by cable categories (Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6a) while fiber cabling forecasts are provided by MM and SM. Forecasts are also provided for the total SCS Market plus a cross-application analysis provides detailed product forecasts evaluated by the five cabling applications. Newer cabling products tracked and analyzed include: Cat 6a UTP cables, fiber cassettes and connectorized fiber cables. In addition, the report provides the latest product and technology trends such as 100 Gbps Ethernet.
