Daniele Giovannucci, former food company executive and Senior Consultant to the World Bank Group, is one of the world's most widely published writers on eco-labels, standards and especially on coffee and sustainability issues. Mr. Giovannucci has nearly three decades of business and development experience in more than 30 countries and regularly advises international bodies and governments (FAO, IFAD, UNCTAD, IDB, EU, USAID, etc.) on agricultural trade competitiveness and rural development strategies. In addition to directing several global research projects he also teaches post-graduate courses focused on sustainability and standards such as organics and fair trade in the agriculture and food industries.
