Independent companies within the audio equipment industry rely on the efficiency of manufacturing practices and the effectiveness of marketing and distribution strategies to generate a considerable profit. Small companies remain in competition by focusing energy on providing specialty components and products for different systems in to appeal to a specific consumer base. Large companies that are already solidly established in this industry possess advantages in their advertising, manufacturing, and distribution practices that give them an edge in audio equipment.
