Since the 2008 financial crisis, the Chinese economy has exhibited strong potential for recovery and growth in comparison with the economies of the developed nations. However, with the increasingly complex nature of the international and domestic environments, the challenges confronting China’s economy will become increasingly prominent in 2012 and throughout the following years. Therefore, the general direction of macro-control policies needs to be reformed, and the fundamental contradictions in the country must be actively addressed.
