Telecommunications industry in Moldova

This report analyzes the telecommunications industry in Moldova and the region of Southeast Europe. Fixed telephone network, mobile phone network, internet usage and subscription and broadband network segments are analyzed and their basic indicators estimated for both the country and the region. Comparison between countries show the relative importance of the country and its telecommunication segments in the region. These indicators are also forecasted for the 2009 and 2010 period. Top companies in each segment and in the whole country are also analyzed as are the top regional companies like Orange, Vodaphone, T-HT, Telekom Srbije, Telekom Slovenije, RomTelecom, BTC and others. Moldtelecom is the clear market leader in Moldova's telecommunications.
