The Assessment Group

The Assessment Group is an independent assessment services company. The mission of The Assessment Group is to provide practice pattern assessments for healthcare industry marketing initiatives, and to evaluate the impact of promotional activities on practice. The Assessment Group is exclusively dedicated to providing high-quality, objective, and effective assessments through both syndicated and custom reports for industry promotional and marketing initiatives. We use scientifically validated methodologies to assess the practice patterns of physicians and other health care professionals before and after exposure to promotional messages.

Our reports will help identify current physician practice patterns, understand differences in clinical decisions and the factors that influence those decisions, barriers to optimal patient care, and will provide actionable data for developing marketing strategies. The Assessment Group develops case vignette surveys to determine the current practice patterns, knowledge, attitudes, confidence and barriers of physicians. Patient cases describe the patient’s history, age, gender, race, and lab/physical results. Following each case, a series of clinical questions is posed to the physicians regarding their treatment decisions. In addition to the cases and clinical questions, questions are designed to assess attitudes, confidence, and barriers to the optimal management of patients.
