Chia Tai Enterprises International Ltd. (CTEI), formerly known as Hong Kong Fortune Ltd., is an investment holding company of Thailand’s Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group). The company now has 73 Lotus outlets across a broad swathe of China.

Revenue growth has also been very strong for the company, but profitability is an issue that needs to address with some urgency. The company has failed to generate profit even though turnover grew by 841% between 2004 and 2009. During the same period, net loss attributable to shareholders in 2009 widened to HK$268m from HK$141m in 2004.
