Based on AMI's annual survey of home-based businesses across the United States (U.S.), this study tracks a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to the adoption and usage of information technology and communications (ICT) solutions. AMI-Partners defines home-based businesses (HBBs) as an income generating entities based in the home. The individuals running these business establishments are self-employed and do not work for a larger corporation.
Products and services covered in this study include established and emerging hardware, software, applications and business process solutions. Also included are such issues as spending, behaviors, decision influencers, channel preferences, outsourcing, and service/support. Further, the study encompasses detailed firmographics, critically important technology attitudes, and strategic planning priorities.
This is one of a continuing series of reports drawn from AMI's proprietary surveys of home-based businesses worldwide. AMI's comprehensive data on IT, Internet, e-business and communications investment and usage are presented in a highly actionable, graphical format with go-to-market insights and analysis.
