The questions this report answers

This report allows tracking price changes in Uzbekistan using the wide range of indicators, such as inflation rate, US Dollar exchange rate, Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index. CPI and PPI data are also provided in the framework of data on prices changes for selected categories items.

Data sources and methodology

State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics and AFS-Research data were used to prepare this report.

Survey data is gathered by our analyst at retail facilities located in various districts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan; from local media and includes estimates of analysts of AFS Research. Survey is conducted anonymously and includes the following categories of common consumer expenditures:

Consumer food products (includes 12 essential goods), consumer non-food products (includes 10 items), services (includes 10 major services provided to consumers), tariffs on travel and transportation (includes cost of major types of domestic and international travel), retail prices for gasoline and diesel, financial indicators.
